Started my coaching experience being involved with the Kennebunk High School team for several years, and coaching one of the JV teams for Kennebunk.
I am currently the Varsity coach for York High School, and heading up this first year program. At Maine Juniors I assisted for a 14U Maine Juniors team, and have coached a 16U team last year.
Played 4 years high school and then for CAL State University- Chico in college. Defensive specialist. Still play when I can find the time.
I’m a positive person with lots of energy, I expect my players to practice like they play and be focused on learning to become better players. My goal is to teach these girls to love the sport of volleyball, which can be a lifelong sport. My expectations are simple; players need to respect themselves, their teammates, coaches, and official and have lots of fun becoming better volleyball players this season.
To see the enthusiasm and excitement of the girls as they improve throughout the season. There is nothing better to see a girl who doubted their abilities work hard and accomplish something!
My professional life is very busy running a commercial office furniture dealership (officeworks) in York, Maine.

We have lived in Kennebunk with our two kids since 1998, our daughter Sarah played 4 years with Maine Juniors and is now in college pursuing a Biology degree and playing D3 volleyball for Emmanuel. We have a son who is a Junior in high school and a three-sport athlete, and two kitties and a yellow lab round out our family.
