Coaching Experience:

In high school, I helped coach our boys volleyball team in their inaugural and second year, helping to teach the fundamentals of volleyball including different skills, rotations, etc. I’ve worked as the head volleyball coach at Spartan Allstars Sports Day Camp and coached at USM’s volleyball summer camp.

Playing Experience:

Played four years for Pasadena High School, three on varsity, captain my senior year. Played one year for LA Premier Volleyball Club and three for Los Angeles Volleyball Academy, captain both 17s and 18s year. Have played two years as a setter/opposite at the University of Southern Maine, posted 10 double-doubles and 1 triple-double and named Little East Offensive Player of the Week my sophomore year.

Coaches Outlook:

I’m really excited to coach my first club team and see how much we can grow! I think we’ll have a lot of fun this season learning and competing together.

Why I Love Coaching:

I love coaching because I love seeing the growth players can have during a season. The moment where a skill or lesson finally clicks for a player is one of the coolest things about coaching. I also appreciate how much I have learned from players I have worked with. Coaching really is a two way street where both the players and coaches learn and benefit from each other and that’s what I love most about coaching.

My Day Job:

I currently work at Salty Dog Adventures where I get to hangout with dogs all day.
