Welcome to the 2024-2025 Club Season!
We are looking forward to another great year of Maine Juniors Volleyball and cannot wait for you to be a part of our family, our traditions and all our future successes on and off the court! Things might look a little bit different this year, but WE are here to help you through all of it and hopefully it is a seamless process in the end! Please, this can be a stressful and confusing time so ask all the questions!
The first step is to update and/or Register for USAV for your membership. You can not tryout without it. We then cannot put you onto a roster spot with MJ if you do not have a membership number. Register HERE.
Second Step, you need to register an account with PlayerFirst. It is our unique app with 3Step in which we process payments, update information, send e-mails, etc… If you already have an account, please make sure that it is up to date with the most current contact information. This is very important as this provides us a way to contact you when teams are selected & throughout the year. Register or update your account HERE.
Thirdly, USAV Medical Release Form. Please make sure it is filled out legibly and accurately. Please bring with you to tryouts. Download and fill out the form HERE.

Once try-outs are concluded, you will be notified via email about making a particular team and asking you to accept a roster spot with Maine Juniors, an email about not making a particular team for upcoming season or a general waitlist e-mail. Upon acceptance, you must then follow the appropriate steps online to finish which include making an initial deposit, double checking your USAV membership, obtaining an AAU membership (National, Gold & most Silver teams), pick a payment plan and order uniforms.
If you are trying out for a NATIONAL team and do not make said team, you are encouraged to then come back for ELITE & CLUB try-outs at no extra fee. If you wish to decline a roster spot on a particular team, you always have that choice if it was not what you wanted. There is the option of joining our Saco local league for the winter season. They practice 1-time a week for a shorter season and do not travel to NERVA or have overnight tournaments. Local league will have 2-3 playdays in Maine and the practices will be based on furthering developing volleyball fundamentals and mechanics. Otherwise, we highly suggest continuing to come to our camps, clinics and sessions we have throughout the year to heighten your skills.

All boys trying out must need all items listed above to be considered for a Maine Juniors team. We are looking to fill at least 4 teams this year and the age of teams might change based on players registered. Practices are slotted to start October 14th on Mondays & Wednesdays for the season while tournaments will be mid-November through February.

All registration procedures are the same as above for tryouts for the Lewiston Division. Below is the chart for tryout dates & times at The Armory in Lewiston. Looking forward to an exciting season at Lewiston this year! Practices are expected to start on November 19th going twice a week while tournament season is from January (for most) through April.
